School Values have been developed by all members of our school community and are actively lived by all at Moonah Primary School. They underpin the culture at Moonah Primary and are used as the inspiration for explicit and proactive teaching of appropriate behaviour, life-long social skills and emotional regulation. The core values at Moonah Primary include; Kindness, Respect, Safety and Learning. These values are a critical element of our social skills program and are used as focus areas for learning tasks. Our social skills and Zones of Regulation teaching and learning program enables us to develop well-rounded individuals who have the skills and knowledge to thrive in an ever changing world. Co-operative learning strategies and the explicit teaching of social skills enable us to have a calm playground and classrooms full of purposeful and thoughtful learning.
